Certificate in Group Work Skills weekend based CPD Training - with Jenny Dawson and David Kalisch at East Down Centre, Devon

This 4 weekend course explores the practice and theory of Groupwork in a variety of forms and contexts.
The course will be suitable for anyone already or planning at some stage to lead/facilitate/teach groups
and will be of particular interest to Counsellors, Psychotherapists, Psychologists, Educationalists, Mental Health workers, Social Workers , workers in the voluntary field as well as to mediators, business and organisational consultants.
The course is largely experiential and practical in focus, integrated with theoretical input on various models of groupwork-Gestalt, Humanistic and Psychodynamic- that underpin our work with groups.

The course is held in the lovely pastoral setting that the East Down Centre affords on the edge of Dartmoor and the course fee includes overnight accommodation on the Friday and Saturday nights, but not food. The Centre is easily accessible by road and rail.

The course is assessed in–house and on satisfactory completion of assignments a Certificate in
Groupwork Skills will be awarded. The course is also eligible as CPD for Counsellors and Psychotherapists.

Cost: £645 payable as a deposit of £245 and 4 instalments of £100
